Grammy-nominated Fervent Records’ artist, Francesca Battistelli, is getting into the Christmas spirit early with the October 16 release of Christmas. In addition to her own Christmas album, Battistelli is also the only artist featured on both Special Olympics benefit albums due out October 16: A Very Special Christmas, Bringing Peace on Earth and A Very Special Christmas 25th Anniversary, Bringing Joy to the World.
Produced by Ian Eskelin, the 11-track album, Christmas, features both classic Christmas songs and several originals all co-written by Battistelli. The album is now available for pre-order exclusively at www.francescamusic.com. Fans can choose from two packages: The Merry Little Christmas Package and The Christmas Dreams Package. The Merry Little Christmas Package includes an autographed Christmas CD, a digital download of the music, an instant MP3 download of “Christmas Is,” and a festive pewter ornament. A Very Special Christmas recording series benefiting the Special Olympics is celebrating its 25th year with the release of two versions: Word Record’s A Very Special Christmas, Bringing Peace on Earth and A Very Special Christmas 25th Anniversary, Bringing Joy to the World. On A Very Special Christmas 25th Anniversary, Bringing Joy to the World, Battistelli’s new track, “December 25,” is featured along with Christmas songs from superstars Christina Aguilera, Michael Bublé, Dave Matthews, Jason Mraz, One Republic and Train. On Word Record’s release, A Very Special Christmas: Bringing Peace on Earth, her version of “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel” is featured along with songs from Point of Grace, NEEDTOBREATHE, Natalie Grant, Big Daddy Weave, Jason Castro, for KING & COUNTRY, Chris August and Sidewalk Prophets among others.
